Lenore F. Horton is an attorney licensed by New York, the District of Columbia, the US Supreme Court, and federal district court (SDNY). Ms. Horton also teaches law, publishes articles and other works that are at times unrelated to her law practice, owns and has ownership interests in businesses unrelated to the practice of law, and engages in advocacy work on human rights and humanitarian law issues. The term “LFH ESQ” is used to represent the Law Firm of Lenore F. Horton, Esq., as a sole practitioner, separate and apart from her other professional, business, educational, and advocacy interests. Occasionally, Ms. Horton uses regular support from licensed attorneys, under her direct supervision, in which case they are identified to existing & prospective clients and on this website. The terms “we,” “our” and “us” are used to refer to LFH ESQ, are employed out of convenience, and are not intended to suggest a partnership or association with other attorneys.

Jurisdiction, Governing Laws, Arbitration. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to rules relating to conflict of laws or forum non convenions. We operate the Site from within the United States. Information contained on the Site may not be appropriate or available for use in other locations, and accessing or viewing the Site in territories where the content may be illegal is prohibited.
Except with respect to the protection and enforcement of Ms. Horton and LFH ESQ’s rights, including rights to seek and/or obtain injunctive or equitable relief, any claim, cause of action or proceeding arising out of or relating to the Terms or the Site shall be resolved, at the sole election of Ms. Horton or LFH ESQ, by mandatory, binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). The arbitration shall be conducted in New York, New York, and the Federal Arbitration Act, and no state law concerning arbitration shall apply. Any action, or any claim, cause of action or proceeding not subject to arbitration as set forth in this section, shall be filed and adjudicated in a state or federal court in New York County, New York, and all parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
